This is a long overdue update on things. I am sorry I have fallen inactive but I have my reasons, this will hopefully clear up everything that's happening.

About my writing.


Recently I've developed a hatred for my own work. I look back at my more recent stories and I just see gimmicks, overpowered characters, crude jokes, overused words, and so many deus ex machinas (sudden things to save the day). I'm just sick of it! I may rewrite so much of my main story just to keep my sanity when it comes to working with my characters. I only made Boris, Roebuck, Jack's squad only because of just sudden additions to the story. I tried making some interesting stories, but I made a huge mistake. I made my semi rage vent stories of Jack being a badass cannon. I made him a badass and I couldn't just rewrite or cast it off because by the time I realized I shouldn't have done that it was already woven into my main story.

I look at Jack and I see a shell of what I wanted him to be. I just.... I tried making him cool, but I went too far. I stole ideas from games and made it so obvious in some spots. He's not who I wanted him to be anymore. Jack's squad members, Boris, and Roebuck are just.... I like having them as characters but they don't really fit in from my new perspective.

I am considering rewriting a huge chunk of my main story. I am not confirming this, but it may happen. Here's a list of things that will change if I do make it.
Jack will no longer be military, nor will he be a master swordsman anymore, he will only have average skills with blades. His "ripper" alter ego will be 100% scrapped, I find that I wrote that into his character absolutely moronic and extremely gimmicky.
Jack's squad, Roebuck, and Boris will most likely not appear again. They will have lost their purpose in my stories after the rewrite, unless I can find a way to tie them into the story, they're going to unused or possibly scrapped. Abby, Laura, and Zoey will meet the rest of my cast in a different way, same with Tyler.

TL:DR
I hate what I've done with my characters and will most likely rewrite a lot of my story-line.

About my drawings.


I have made some progress on getting decent at drawing, but still I am no master. I may begin to upload a few random sketches from time to time just to show what I've been doing. I heavily use references for my drawing from time to time, my best work comes from it. If you see an absolutely amazing picture I post, I most likely used a lot of references to make it.

I have failed to draw my characters, I try but fail pretty much every time. I have that feeling that if it's not perfect I cant show it off and or it's a failure I should scrap. I do occasionally get past that feeling but it's still strong. I have actually managed to draw Cynhard, but I wont be posting it.

TL:DR
I have gotten better at drawing and may start uploading some random drawings of mine.
