Background: My dad used to race sled dogs while I was growing up, so I was raised with 30 Alaskan Huskies. My parents were always worried that the dogs would be too rough and knock me down as a kid, but that was never a problem since the dogs thought of me as the human "puppy" and were very patient with me :) Sadly, my dad had to give up racing as he got older and his body couldn't take the stress any more. I played soccer for the 9 years leading up to high school. I also played in the school band for 9 years, the first 5 on the clarinet, and the last 4 in high school on the bassoon. Continuing with the 9 year motif, I played paintball for that same length of time. The trend breaks with Magic: the Gathering. I have been playing for the last 14 years, though not very competetively until recently. I am studying to become a robotics engineer.
