Hi there! My name is Alyssa, which is also my OC's name as well. We are one in the same, love to joke, cut up, and generally enjoy life! How exactly do I keep my head up? Well, I've fought and beat cancer once, I'm currently, and going to defeat it again, so what is there not to be happy about? The only draw back is most of my money, which is currently going into co-pays, leaves me without the ability to purchase art. Of course, it saddens me in a way it might not other people. I'm not sad that I can't have something everyone else already has, no, that's not it at all! I think it's sad that people can't peek into my brain and see her as I do, that's the whole point in art right? To bring something you love with every bit of passion you have to life! Sadly, my imagination isn't as good as my drawing, I lack the talent when it comes to that. I am however, a very, very passionate writer as you may be able to tell. Do I believe that words are as powerful as a picture? Yes. Each serves their purpose, to convey what we want to others and that's really all that matters. Of course, some people may see this and think, this is just a pity thing to try and get free art. Not at all! I'm simply giving everyone who is interested a look inside my mind, well, to the best of my ability anyway. I am transgendered in real life, in case anyone is curious as to why I have my character's gender as such. I do role-play, which is part of the reason we, me and my character, are so much alike! Words have passion, art has passion, and I can appreciate anything else that does as well. Now, if you see this and want to surprise me with something, go right ahead. It isn't expected, all that I ask is perhaps you say hello, we strike up a conversation and talk about things that are of common interest. If by chance you do surprise me with art, then I will be sure to return the favor and write a poem for you! It isn't hardly as pretty visually, but I can promise you it will have as much emotion behind it as I can muster to write!
