My style of art critique may come off as harsh; I tend to speak my mind. I believe that honesty in criticism in furry art is nearly nonexistent. If you find yourself having a thin-skin about such criticism, then the art world in general, be it professional or amateur, is not your cup of tea. Also, this being a community art site which allows commentary, one should accept such criticism along with flowery comments; the desire to be shielded from such is one-sided and unrealistic.

To those implying hypocrisy for me not having any posted art:
I could be the best furry artist in the world, or one only capable of crude scribblings. It is entirely irrelevant; art criticism is based on reason and aesthetics, and a critique should stand on its own merit. Criticism is by definition opinion, but that does not mean that art is completely relative; good art follows certain rules that take into consideration of the human mind (including knowing how, and when, to bend or break such rules.)
