Hmmm, so, I am adding this journal just so I can post ideas for species. Then if people see it and want to give input, I can read over things and make adjustments.

I've been thinking of 'abilities' I could have, that don't seen too farfetched and can be easily snuck into his character without having to make adjustments to his art that is already made.

So far, I have an idea of making him more 'poison' based. I got the idea from his colorful nature (getting the idea from a lot of frogs), that colorful creatures can be rather poisonous.

The idea then led me to an old documentary or whatever that said "If dragons did exist, they would probably need some kind of oil pouch for their fire". So maybe stating that he has some inner organ, possibly attached to the stomach or something, that collects things from his food or other stuff to make his own personalized toxin. (Also some ideas from Comodo Dragons)

So, possibly a pouch/organ for poison. Can coat his saliva at will, thus making his bite worse too. And since it's a specialized poison to himself, (like a comodo) he could use it to track his victim/enemy should they manage to escape. Of course it would be like any liquid, unable to use infinitely, as it would need food/liquid intakes to refill it. Then maybe being able to spray it out in large doses in "do or die" situation, but that feature would immediately deplete it. So emergency situations only.

Also, as a natural order to things, he would only use this feature when necessary. Since you'd think that such a feature would make his mouth taste/smell rather undesirable whenever it was used.
