Wow I feel a bit dumb XD

For the past few days I’ve been kinda upset because Arecu doesn’t look “feminine” enough to be easily identified as female. It put me in a nasty bit of a creative slump.
Then I realized.
I DESIGNED HER TO LOOK ANDROGYNOUS. Aaaallll the way back in 2012. Wowzers.
I can’t believe I forgot that her entire gimmick was that you weren’t supposed to be able to tell what the hell she was just by looking at her. She was supposed to be one of those characters that you look at and be like “That’s totally a boy- or…is it..?” Back in 2012 I didn't give her eyelashes on purpose because of this very reason. When on earth did I start giving her eyelashes again? No matter, I like the really weird ones she has now, so I'm keeping those. But I don't feel the need to make her look more-or-less "feminine" anymore. <3
I’m glad I remembered that, so now I might be able to enjoy drawing that nerd again. I'm done ranting now XD
