*in character* Hey I'm Astro, your friendly interplanetary Husky, stopping by Earth to finish my training to become a Furstronaut! I'm super friendly, curious, outgoing, and energetic! I can't wait to meet you!!!

*out of character* I still consider myself fairly new to the fandom, although I've been hanging around at local meets for about a year now, and probably considered myself to have a positive view of the fandom for about two years. I'm a HUGE fan of fursuiting, partially for some of the amazing suit designs, but mostly for the amazing characters that some fursuiters are able to develop and portray. My first fursuit, Astro, is nearly 100% complete and I got to fursuit in him for the first time at Anthrocon 2014. What a milestone! I'm hoping to make many more local meets (primarily organized by the local group TheFurstState such as furbowls and the New Year's Furry Ball) and at some point I'll make it to some more conventions too. What conventions, when? No idea, I have too many other hobbies/interests that also suck money! In the mean time I'll be randomly fursuiting around town and making some fursuiting vids for youtube :)
