It's just that feeling you get when you feel something's played out its' course, y'know? It was fun and it was a great time, but I'm ready to let the sun set on him.

To explain.
I don't hate Xavier nor do I wish ill on anybody that still loves him. But... my heart isn't into it. I had been trying to get a new Xavier-focused fic off the ground for I think nearly 4 years at this point. I realized I had just been trying to force myself to write something during all that time.

Xavier used to be my 'Sona, long before Neos, so I'd just like to move on. I've felt like this for a while, truth be told. I just struggled to say it out loud.

Now, I'm only retiring Xavier and (by direct association) Louna as characters. The world in which the series takes place in is still "active".

But story focus will change drastically. You may recall Martin and Manfred having a full side-story to themselves recently. My aim is to shift from Xavier to Martin and Manfred as the main characters. Ian and Luther would likely still appear, though only as guest/side characters. Xavier is still active in the "world" but is no longer being written about. I'll probably put the first fic of this new series into its' own folder for clarity's sake on the split.

To any of you who enjoyed Xavier or first found me through him, I thank you for sticking around for all these years. It might be the end of the robot Lucario, but this big Neoshadow still has plenty of creative spirit left in him for years to come!
