Canideeds are a species me and cosmo_the_huskie made up. I've decided to write this journal so me and others can refer to it when writing about our Canideed OCs.


Actions/Nature:
Canideeds act like puppies and/or kittens in nature. They love to be around humans that they find acceptable to raise them. If someone or something injures either them, their human, or something they love, they will attack, viciously biting, headbutting, scratching, ect. anything to get revenge. After an attack they go back to the innocent puppy like demeanor acting like they didn't just act like a blood thirsty creature of the night. Canideeds can grow a small hoarding/obsessive behavior, like hoarding socks or anything similar. They tend to trip over their long ears, but they don't care and end up making a sound similar to giggling while rolling around. Some Canideeds can gain slight telepathic powers with their human, but it doesn't speak so to say. It's more like the human can understand what the Canideed is thinking. Blu ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22726211/ ) is a great example of this. She and her owner can "talk" through body language and slight telepathy.

Baby Canideeds:
Babies are about as big as a baby ostrich and can walk, see, and hear when they hatch. They love to play and roll around just like their adult selves. When they are babies they tend to stalk humans they are interested in and when they are in their teenage years they will go out and adopt a human as their owner to take care of them. However some prefer to not have an owner and stay in the wild.

Interactions with humans:
Canideeds love their Human to the extent of following them everywhere and will do anything to make them happy. Canideeds also like other humans, but not as much as their owner. Canideeds also love hugs and cuddles from their Humans, they believe that these hugs are the best hugs, aside from hugs from other canideeds, These creatures are just happy and want others to be happy in general.

Canideed Eggs:
Canideed eggs are 6 inches in height and 4 inches in diameter. They come in many different colors, designs, and texture. Some eggs have a slick shell, while others are more rough. Slick eggs are rare and their shininess shows their health. If it's shiny it's healthy, but if it's dull then that means it's ill. Rough eggs are more common and have a different way of showing their health. If a rough egg is dull then it is healthy, but if it looks shiny and has a kinda slimy texture then it's ill.

Canideeds When Growing Up:
Canideeds are strange when they get older, when in the wild they tend to become more human like in their behavior and in some cases, learn to speak. Canideeds that live with an owner don't become that human like so quickly, they remain in their loyal, puppy like ways for years, decades even.
