I'm gonna try to do these journals on a semi-basis (Maybe weekly perhaps) and gonna use these to kinda go over art adventures as I continue to use this site.

I feel this is gonna be pretty fun as to track my overall progress, tastes, and also various states as I'm gonna try to keep these as informative as possible. Well, informative in terms of information that will be useful in terms of just reading idly or like a sort of meta thing. Anyway, here is the first stats and such for progress as of April 5th, 2025!

Art Log:
Recently started drawing more 2 dimensional sketches and doodles. Mostly has been practice and developing a species to idly draw. With time and patience, they'll even become a fully realized 3d model for use in VRChat or Resonite. Hell, anything honestly, maybe even little animations. :3c

Ali-ata species (as stated) is being developed and drawn out. The lore is being written to include their abilities as well as their traits. Design wise, they've got a whole bunch of customization starting out.

Drew some stuff for friends! And also made some commissions for 3d models edits, so far everything has been a lovely learning experience. I feel I can now use blender reliably along with unity in creating art and environments.

Health Status:
Physically fine and dandy, although the spring time has put more strain on me after a long while of no outdoor work. However, the sun and exercise feels good to get back to.
Mentally, doing pretty good too albeit some minor things to do with discord and some individuals. Nothing more than the equivalent of high school drama/ standard furry stuff that occasionally happens through miscommunication. Mainly, my patience has been strained but overall its recovering and is close to being right back before said drama happened.
Overall, I'd say I'm in a good spot at the moment and productivity is very good.

Idea log and sight log:
(this is used to categorize possible ideas for the future, and also to catalogue some art pieces I see out in the wild)
Possibly design even more pinata/alebrije designs.
Delve more into putting said designs into woodburning projects, and maybe adding my nature designs into those as well.
More art is on display in the public around my town, and I've been noticing a small renaissance of sorts with it. Once again in my life I'm glad to live where I live for the culture alone.

And that does it for this entry, some entries in the future might be shorter or vary in terms of how grammatically correct they are. But we'll see as time goes on, I hope to make this a frequent occurrence, something to get in the habit of.

That being said, I think starting out I'll also be open to creative feedback or ideas (or just chatting too since I'm pretty talkative as well for a pooltoy/bubble/balloon dog :3c)

As I develop the hybrid species known as Ali-Ata, what are some ideas that you think could be incorporated into them? Anything you'd like to see as potential traits? Maybe even the species could jump its constraints and even develop sub-species. Please, let me know what you think!
