Today, I am 13.
Tomorrow, I am 14.
The fact that I have to go to school dampens it considerably, but it doesn't stop me from realising that I've changed in the past year. A lot.
I've grown up, seriously. I don't know how, but my mind is sharper, my thoughts are deeper, my body is... *cough* a little bigger and a little curvier than last year (it's muscle, not fat, I swear.) I've discovered stuff about myself I never thought possible; done stuff I never imagined I'd do, and I've met somebody truly, truly incredible. A girl who, quite frankly, I never thought I'd meet in the same way as I did.
Welp, here's to another year of life. Another year of wobbling on that strange tightrope between childhood and adulthood, another year of all the good and the bad, and another year of being me. Blimey, I almost feel old. Quick, put me in the cupboard before this biscuit goes soggy...
