You'll have to forgive me if the contents of these stories are at all naive/idiotic, because I'm rather young, and therefore prone to such issues.
With that out of the way, thanks very much for stopping by. Though no one's forcing you, please feel free to leave comments or criticism. Like any artist/writer/composer/whatever, I appreciate your thoughts, be they good or bad. I'm always looking to improve, so if you see anything you think could be better...please, let me know.
I'm not sure how much there is to say about me. I like to write, and I like meeting people, so if you're interested in talking/chatting/whatever drop me a line. I'm a bit quiet and shy and all that, but being with people (even if it's only on the internet) makes me happy. I'm a boy. I wish I could draw. I'm young, so I'm bored by most music that doesn't have a guitar somewhere in it. I think a lot. I read, I sleep...etc. I can get down on myself and the world at times, but I'd much rather everyone, myself included, be happy.
Um...yes. Have a nice day, and once more, thanks for stopping by.

Holy crap I'm in college etc.

It's very hard for me to believe that, after years and years of living beneath my parents' roof, I'm finally here. The fact that I am here is actually kind of a let-down; I've dreaded and anticipated this event for so long, it's surreal to actually be at the place I've heard so much/watched so many movies about. (A conclusion: not like Animal House.) I don't feel particularly heart-broken, like I thought I would, at the absence of my parents. I miss them, but I really feel like it was time to head out and experience something new. Which, I guess, is what I'm doing. Sort of.
It's been kind of busy the past few weeks, but things are settling down now. By "settling down," I mean that I'm getting into the swing of things, for lack of a better explanation. Everything still feels kind of fresh and new, but a routine is starting to establish itself, and thakfully it's at the point where it's a comfort rather than an annoyance. I'm surprised, though, because I've heard so much about how difficult Freshman year can be, but so far my homework load isn't much greater than that of high school. It's also wonderfully refreshing to get to choose classes that I want to take, and therefore feel invested in, and not get shoved into some random course that I've no interest in just to fulfill an arbitrary requirement. I'm taking no math this year, and I have to say that it feels awesome.
There are also a lot less jerks than in high school. I was never targeted, but being around those kind of people isn't very beneficial to one's mental health. Of course, when I return to the "real world" there'll be plenty of people I'm not fond of, so I plan to enjoy this (supremely expensive) vacation while I can.
On a side note, I'm going to learn how to swing dance!
Awesome!
