hello i am a crafter/jeweler from New Zealand, I have developed a process of copper plating organic and inorganic items resulting in the item being encased in a hard copper shell.
many of my projects these days incorporate steel, brass and copper as I feel that although they are not expensive as precious metals any artwork made from them carried much more value as precious metals are already valuable without them having to be made in to anything so creating a valuable piece of art is much simpler but with a piece of copper the value and beauty is in the work not in the base metal.
