Fursona Adventure
Caesario was found unconscious on the shores of Georgia's coastline. When he awoke he found himself in the house of Rhae Starshine a blonde blossom bat (try saying that five times fast.) and Random the otter. He remembers nothing before he was found but finds solice in the company of the ones who found him, they seem to remind him of people he may have once knew. His real age is unknown but he looks as if he is in his early twenties. His many scars may mean he has seen many battles or more likely that he is kind of klutzy. He has the ability to see into the future when his violet eyes glow brightly. He is very sensitive to the changes in the weather and suspects that in his past he may have once worked magic on storms. To repay the kindness shown to him by his hosts, he does landscape work. In hopes of finding out about his past he meditates, although so far he has had minimal success. Unlike the rest of his brothers and sisters in the feline race he is very fond of water, in fact, he is soothed by it. Since waking in the company of Starshine and Random he has been known to either been staring out at the seas for long periods of time or be swimming when the weather is fine and there is no work to be done. One day as Caesario was staring out into the sea, he felt a strange presence behind him. He turned to look and saw a horde of ferret assassins surrounding him. Four of the ferrets, were holding captive his friends Starshine and Random. Upon seeing his friends captured and apparently ruffed up Caesario went into a rage and started swinging. He was able to knock a couple of the assassins to the ground before being knocked unconcious himself. When he awoke he found himself tied to a chair in the house of his friends, the ferrets saw him awake and started to speak. "So we have finally found you, striped one.", the apparent leader said. "Who are you? What do you want with me? And what have you done with my friends?" Caesario asked. "Do not worry striped one, your friends are safe, for now. All we want is to know what you did with our master's book of storm magic." The ferret leader said. "What are you talking about? What book of storm magic? I was found on the shore not far from this house barely half a year ago and have since been trying to recover lost memories." replied Caesario. "It appears you need some motivation." the leader said and motioned to one of his subordinates, who promptly went into a separate room and dragged out the form of Random the otter. The assassin leader moved as if to strike Random and not wanting to see his friend hurt Caesario blurted out "WAIT!. I need time to travel to the place i hid the book you seek." "That's better. We will inform our master that you will bring the book to him." The ferret said leaning close to Caesario. Then without warning the leader cried out "FERRETS VANISH!" and all the assassins threw down smoke bombs and switly vanished.
A few hours later, the tiger, bat and otter had bandaged each other up and were sitting around the table. "Caesario, what is this book the ferrets were looking for?" Starshine asked. "I wish I could answer that Starshine but you know my memory is gone. The leader said it was a book of storm magic." He answered. "Storm magic? Hmm I think I have some books that mention something called the Tempusnomicon." Random said and went into his study. A couple minutes went by and Random came out carrying four thick books. He opened one to a page showing an illustration of a book with storm clouds on it. "Here look at this." He said. Starshine and Caesario looked at the page and read. "The Tempusnomicon is a powerful book of storm magics. It can be used to embue the very essence of the weather of any who opens it. It was once in the possession of a mighty wizard who used the powers of storm magic to help those around his tower. In an unfortunate event the book was stolen and the wizard killed. The book was later delivered to a malevolent king who had in his service an equally devious sorceror who used the Tempusnomicon to rule with an iron hoof. The king was known as Equus the terrible. Eventually the peasants in Equus's kingdom revolted and overthrew the black tyrant and his wicked wizard. The book was lost in the struggle and none were able to find it afterwards. It was presumed destroyed."
"Hmm, interesting." Caesario said. "Does any of that bring back any memories Caesario?" Random asked. "I remember hearing a story once about the rule of Equus the terrible and his evil mage Lepus, but until now I thought it was just a story. I dont remember any thing about taking the book from anyone nor that it had even been found." Caesario replied. "Well maybe, that was how you came to be here unconscious. And how you became sensitive to weather patterns." Starshine said. "Perhaps. Whether that's what happened or not I need to go out and see if I can find that book." Caesario said. "Don't worry Caesario, you won't have to do it alone. We will go with you." Random said and Starshine nodded. "Thank you, you two, but I could never ask you to do that. I've caused you enough trouble. I dont want you guys to get hurt because of me." Caesario replied. "Caesario, we won't let you set out on this adventure by yourself. You will need help so we're going with you and that's that" Starshine said adimently with a look in her eye that Caesario knew better than to argue with despite not wanting to endanger his friends. "We will need to get ready and find a way to help you travel Starshine, since you're nocturnal." Caesario said. The three friends spent the rest of the day getting ready for departure and figuring out where to start their journey. "I think we should start somewhere out at sea, perhaps Bermuda." Caesario said. "Why Bermuda?" Random asked. "Because of all the legends about the Bermuda triangle and all the weird stuff that is said to go on there. If I did indeed have the book and wanted to keep it out of evil hands I'd want to put it in a place that people would be weary of going." Caesario replied. "Good enough for me. Bermuda, here we come." Starshine said.
