Well! I've been a regular drop in panelist and news producer for Echoplex Media, and it's been terrific. I know a few dozen of the people in the Northern California music scene, mostly San Jose and Santa Cruz... and it's making me study harder and learn about making and recording music.
I made a spam can electric guitar. I'll probably make more wacky instruments.

The live streams are Tuesday night and Sunday evening and the 'best' parts of those shows get uploaded to the podcasts.
