my name isn't carp
to clarify, my online handle screen name isn't carp
so don't bother trying to find me elsewhere

i've been here for years, drawing quietly in the background, attaining a degree of proficiency
but of course if i post anything i could be recognized as having a page on this website
it would be a little less damaging to my reputation than posting art on deviantart, though
so there's that at least, anyway

to make the purpose of this account quite clear
i'm just here to look at the pretty artworks
to admire and properly study them
i've already learned so much
so thank you to those who contributed whether you knew it or not

maybe you've seen my page on some other gallery site
if that's true, then good for you
after all, you were on at least one of those websites at some point in time
so there's a chance that you might be a pretty cool person

non-artists are of little consequence, full stop
they are kind of like litter on a sidewalk decorated with chalk drawings
to even see one slightly disgusts me on some level
so if you're not an artist, don't bother me

and finally, snide comments are a favorite pastime of mine
though too many of the people on this website are beneath my attentions
maybe not as many as there are on deviantart, though
if i ever reply to your comment, perhaps you should pat yourself on the back
despite what i said in reply or what you said in the first place
obviously you were significant enough to warrant the use of a moment of my time
so on second thought, definitely pat yourself on the back
