Just because you were born in 97 doest mean you're a 90s kid. ... It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons -I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90s just wont cut it.

You're a 90s kid if, You remember watching: -Kenan and Kel -Doug -Ren & Stimpy -Pinky and the Brain -AAAAAAAH Real Monsters! -Rocko's Modern Life -Animaniacs -Gargoyles -Tom and Jerry [when they didnt talk] -Hey Arnold -Out of the Box -Bear in the Big Blue House (I remember all these shows. I didn't really get into Out of the Box or Bear in the Big Blue or Hey Arnold either. I did like Pete and Pete though. And that one gameshow with the Temple. Remember Double Dare?)

You've ever ended a sentence with the word PSYCHE! You just cant resist finishing this: "In west Philadelphia born and raised... (I've never been to Philadelphia but I have said Psyche before.)

You remember: -Step by Step -Family Matters -Dinosaurs -Boy Meets World (I remember these but I never really watched them.)

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. (True that.)

When everything was settled by:

-rock paper scissors or -bubble gum bubble gum in a dish or -miss mary mack (Yup.)

When kick ball was something you did everyday!! (I hated kickball and dodgeball. I especially hated it when the PE teacher let them use kickballs IN dodgeball. Those kidds beamed those balls like they were trying to kill someone.)

You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape. (Hell yeah)

You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular. (I remember those two although my first constall was the N64.)

You always wanted to send in a tape to Americas Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny. (Yup.)

You remember watching: -The Magic School Bus -Wishbone -Reading Rainbow -Ghostwriter on PBS (*nods*)

You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. (I actually had about three of those. Not sure what happened to them.)

And you played with Silly Puddy and Sticky Tac that you stole from the teachers walls. (Yes!)

You remember those Where's Waldo books.(Yup.)

Those awesome Buzz Lightyear shoes that light up. (I remember those but I never really got into Toy Story.)

You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum (Oh yeah)

You remember watching: -The 1st Batman -Aladdin -Ninja Turtles -Ghost Busters (Ninja Turtles Rule)

You remember Ring Pops!! (Don't forget the Push Pops.)

If you remember when every thing was da BOMB! (Lol)

You remember boom boxes vs. cd players (Oh yeah)

You played and/or collected Pogs (Never did the Pog thing but I do remember the other kids getting into it.)

You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere u went (I did have one but I was smart enough to keep it at home.)

You watched the original cartoons of -Rugrats -Wild Thornberrys -Power Rangers -Rocket Power. (You forgot VR Troopers)

All your school supplies were Lisa Frank brand. (Actually my stuff was Godzilla from that movie with the iguana that turns into Godzilla during some nuclear testing. Or it was Dinosaur stuff. I wasn't the kid who was into the pretty stuff.)

If you collected those: -Beanie Babies -Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon cards -Coins with the states on them -Carebears -Silver dollars, which were cool to have (I saw the other kids collect them but I never got into the trading card thing. I did like beanie babies, I used to have the pterodactyl one and the snake. I'm not into coins and Carebears were to girly for me.)

You know the Macarena by heart (I don't know the Macarena by heart. I was more into Disco and Ragtime back then.)

"Talk to the hand". . .enough said. (Brick wall!)

You went to McDonalds to play in the play place (Only did that once but that's cause I was always at BK.)

Before the MySpace frenzy... (Myspace sucks)

Before the Internet & text messaging... (Yup.)

Before Sidekicks & iPods ... (Yup.)

Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360... (N64 all the way)

Before Spongebob... (SPongebob sucks too)

When light up sneakers were cool and you had spiral spring shoelaces (I never got to have those it was always regular tennis shoes.)

When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs (Yes!)

When gas was $1. (Yes)

When we recorded stuff on VCR (Hell yeah.)

You had slap bracelets!(never had them myself but I saw the other kids with them.)

You actually played outside until it was dark! (Lightning bug catching and bug hunting under rocks. Trying to keep worms as pets but they'd dry up because I'd forget to water them.)

Way back-Before we realized all this would eventually disappear (nods)
