I've been a "conscious" furry since 2017, more or less. However, I've always loved animals, including animals with human features, so I've always been a furry, to some extent.
In general, my main preference is regular animals, or sapient animals with a regular appearance, rather than the more usual anthropomorphic characters. But needless to say, I absolutely love anthropomorphic creatures too.
My fursona is a sapient, albino rabbit, whose name is Casdan. He often takes a feral form and the role of a scientist or health professional of some kind.
