General Life Update: College, New Art, and Learning Spanish (G)
First, I wanted to give a big thank you. I have over 220 followers since I began uploading to this account almost a year ago, something I am incredibly grateful for.
I'm getting steadily closer to graduation. I have 2-3 semesters left. I've been taking 2 classes a semester for almost 5 years now, balancing life struggles with education. I am also incredibly grateful that I have managed to pay for the last 5 years entirely through scholarships, and that I received a full-ride scholarship in June to cover this current Fall and upcoming Winter semester. I've only had to take out a small amount of student loan to pay for my living space this past year, since I moved into an apartment with just me and my two cats, Walter and Jasper.
Art has been entirely put to the back burner for the most part these last 5 years as well. I have a few sketches and personal stuff I am working on. I am trying to create art gifts for my partner's family for Christmas. I do have something in the works for one follower who became my 100th watcher here.
I just celebrated 4 months with my partner, and we are planning a trip to his family's home in Idaho for Christmas. He and his family are Mexican. I have slowly been teaching myself Spanish to prepare to meet his grandparents. I can tell I know more than I did 4 months ago, but I know I have a long road ahead of me to get to a conversational level.
It's been expensive living on my own the past year. I've wanted to open for commissions or do doodles for donations for awhile, but with so much on my plate as of late, I haven't wanted to take on more than I can handle. That being said, if anyone would like a sketch commission, I am available for those right now.

We often speak of The Individual and The Universe; but within the individual, there is a universe as well.
