A little about the Cervidian universe and the art:
The art in my gallery offers a glimpse into the world of Cervidia and its inhabitants. I am developing a science/fiction fantasy tale for these creatures and have spent more than 15 years developing these characters, their cultures, and their environments.
Magic Clam and I have been working together on the art and the development of Cervidia for the last 10 years. I produce the ink drawings while he introduces color with Prismacolor pencils. I am also developing my own coloring skills, but my true strength remains in my inking and pencils.

The Best and Worst of Times (G)

Hey all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing alright. I have been away from home for the last few weeks. First I went exploring trails and ancient forests along the northern Oregon Coast. These locations are the source of inspiration for the Sacred Forests of Cervidia. I am recharged in state of mind and spirit when I spend time in the woods. Afterward, I went camping by myself in Mount Rainier National Park which helped clear my head and allowed me to process everything that has been going on in my life. A lone camping trip was essential because I had some of the best and worst experiences of my life all packed together in the last month which has sent my head spinning. I can't imagine that I'll ever be the same person again, but hopefully I'll be someone better.
I'll be resuming work on my art starting next week. I may be a little slow at the start, but I certainly am excited to start on a few upcoming projects.
