So as of the 5th of July I have had a mountain Bike. It is a Motiv Rockpoint from the year 1994. When I found it the only thing wrong with it was that its derailed needed some adjustments, the brakes were pretty worn down, but I am still using them for now, and the rear tire inner tube had so much dry rot. I did end up having one of my friends dad help me fix the derailed that kept ghost shifting. We also changed the wires in the brake lines, because they were rusting, and we put new tires on, and finally we tightened the spokes on the wheels and fixed the fork bearings that had dirt in them. So after all of that she was trail ready once again. Ever since I got it fixed somewhere around the last few days of July or early august. My only complaints about the dumpster bike is that it is really small for me since I am 6", 1" and the bike was made for someone younger than me or smaller adult. But I love it. This bike has been in some minor head ons, and side swipes of trees along with it sliding out from under me when I take a corner to sharp and the only thing to go wrong on it as a result was the front derailed mechanism which can get fixed, I will just need some more help, because when I tried to do it I made it worse lol. But mountain biking ha been a way for me to destress. It has brought me out in nature. It has made me more healthier as a person. This is because it got me to go outside for a long period of time rather than working with computers all day, and it has me doing physical exercise. So all in all I feel that many people should try out mountain biking in trails. They may not end up liking it, but at least they will have tried it, and who knows maybe they will end up liking biking in the long run of it all.
