General Information
This account was created to give FA users an easy list of different causes and charities, most of which require only the click of a mouse. FA has a massive user base, many of whom feel they cannot make a difference due to time, money, or other constraints. This group is here to change that misconception, and hopefully spread the word for various causes and charities about which the users feel strongly. Note: We will not be listing charities that specify religious affiliation as part of whom they assist. We believe everyone deserves the same consideration for assistance, regardless of religious beliefs (or lack thereof).

What Can You Do?
Well, first, you can click the links provided below and in our journals to help the causes you feel deserve your help! We also welcome suggestions, and our moderators are more than happy to submit any relevant and appropriate artwork. We also love to hear feedback! Suggest a new charity we've not seen. Send links to a cause you think should be featured in our spotlight journals. Of course, placing our icon in your profile is encouraged, as well, if you feel the need. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate in discussions; we're here to help, and if you think you know of a way we could be doing that more productively, by all means, let us know!

Charity Navigator - A very useful site I stumbled across while forming this page that lists charities and rates them based on various factors (including how large a percentage of donations go to the program involved, fundraising efficiency, etc.). I highly recommend checking this - or similar - site(s) before donating to any cause.
