Fellow tanuki, welcome to the Sho-jo-ji temple of Fur Affinity!!!
Tanuklub is a group made ONLY for furries whose fursonas are tanuki--fat, brown, nocturnal canids with large scrotum that, in Japanese folklore, often have the ability to shape-shift. Tanuki will eat just about anything, and are the only canids that hibernate over Winter. Oh yeah, and tanuki are NOT raccoons, despite having a similar appearance.
RULES:
1. Tanuki, tanuki hybrids, alternate tanuki forms and tanuki lovers are welcome here! All you have to do is watch us to join (-:
2. If your fursona is a plain raccoon, you're not welcome here. It maybe hard to tell the difference, but raccoons aren't tanuki, and tanuki aren't raccoons. Sorry...
3. ABSOLUTELY NO FOXES OR KITSUNE ARE ALLOWED HERE. Foxes/Kitsune are known for being Tanuki's greatest enemy!!!
4. Play nice! No haters or trolls.
