X said good night to Gabrielle, and went back to the motel to get some sleep. He couldn't wait to wake up in the morning and greet Gabrielle for the beginning of their journey together. He was looking forward to a friendship, and the fact that he found Gabrielle beautiful made the thought even better.

The next morning, X woke up and gathered his belongings, slipping his backpack over his shoulder and headed out to the front desk to say good bye to Coop.

"Morning Coop, how are you?" He said with a smile.
"I'm great, what about you? You're heading out today, and you're taking miss Gabrielle with you, aren't you?" Coop said with a grin.
"I'm good, and that I am." X chuckled softly.
"Haha! I wish you luck on your journey, and you best treat her right." Said Coop.
"You have my word. I promise I'll take care of her." X said with a smile.

As X headed out the door, he was greeted by Gabrielle who was carrying a backpack. She smiled at him and waved; "Hey X, are you ready?" She said happily.

"Readier than ever, ma'am." X said with a playful bow and a chuckle.
"Lets get going then!" She said, reaching up to kiss his cheek.

X blushed as she kissed his cheek, as he motioned for her to lead the way. He still couldn't believe that he finally had a friend, and someone who could accompany him on his journey. He made a promise to Coop to take care of her, and he had already known that he would do his best to treat her like a princess. He was going to protect her from any harm, no matter what he had to do.

They headed down the street, leaving the town behind them. X enjoyed the time he spent in the town, but he knew he had to continue searching for answers about his parents' death. He needed to know why somebody would want to kill his parents, he wanted to know what his parents could have done to deserve to be killed.

As they walked along the road, X couldn't help but watch Gabrielle. He was astonished by how beautiful she was. He loved the way her hips swayed when she walked, the way her fur shined in the sunlight. The wavy fur on her tail swayed with the breeze. She was gorgeous.
X wanted to spend every waking moment with her. He hoped that she would allow him to protect her, and treat her as if she were a princess. He had hopes that maybe she would see him as more than a friend. He could see himself falling for her.
