It's not exactly much of a secret that my output is sporadic at best, which is always going to be a natural enemy to building up a real audience. There’s a number of reasons why there’s been so many dry spots; I’m not going to pretend I have the strongest of work ethics, but some recent big life changes hopefully might have changed things in a more impactful way for once.

Splitting things into two distinct categories!

Immediate Do’s:
1) Finishing commissions. Some of these are well over a year old now and I really should’ve learned to say no after a certain point *not* because I had any issues with what people have requested, but rather I had zero foresight into what my work capacity could handle, especially as I kept piling on top of my commitments. I also got too used to not accepting payment in advance as a crux to put things off. People still waiting I haven’t recently contacted are fully free to ping me that they want to cancel but otherwise I’m aiming to try and get these done within the next month.
2) Properly opening up commissions publicly after the prior point is finished, hard limit of 3 to 5 at a time.
3) I might spit ball this with some friends with experience in both these areas but either going to start up a Patreon and/or a Ko-fi. I’ve heard Patreon is getting consistently worse with alt-art stuff so Ko-fi might be more appealing, though regardless I’d really just treat either as a tip jar and/or way of requesting a quick sketch.
4) Despite my issues with the site, I may as well update the DA with pics as they’re done for the extra engagement. Probably not going to engage with too much there otherwise though. FurAffinity has its issues but at least from my perspective it feels far less swamped with literal children engaging with weird fetish/porn material.
5) Socialise with people more I guess? I feel like I’m never the first to strike up a conversation but I’m normally not opposed to just regular chatting as long as it’s not just a ‘hey’ or ‘do you RP’ level basic prompt lmao. I also have a huge issue of joining a million servers and then getting so overwhelmed I only engage with like, three of them tops. Last count I was literally in over two dozen of them on my Discord so I might have to do some spring-cleaning on that front.

Longterm Do’s:

1) Hoping to for the first time in years get some proper personal art education done and worked into a daily routine, which I guess ties into an overall goal of wanting to improve my general health and wellbeing. I guess over time if people were interested I could share what’s largely just regular art practice/studies on my no longer private non-NSFW alt?
2) Get more into animation/video work in regards to kink stuff. I actually have a fair amount of experience in this area (more so marketing purposes) but haven’t really given applying it to personal projects or even NSFW junk a proper go. Blender and After Effects are the main tools I’d use so really getting that going as some special occasional stuff could be fun!
3) Branch more into regular pin-up art. This might mean making a separate account as people super into the expansion fetish stuff aren’t going to be as keen into more ‘vanilla’ stuff and vice-versa, but I think especially with the art education stuff it’ll be beneficial to try and engage with more; balloons and blobs are stupid fun, but in all honestly I get why people can get burnt out drawing it non-stop. Kudos to people who don’t mind drawing it non-stop because it’s not like I don’t like seeing pics of crazy huge girls any less.
For anyone who bothered reading all this I appreciate it; I usually don’t like opening up like this and from here on out I’ll try to keep most regular tweet/personal stuff off this account and on the non-art alt.
