The Ryu of Drawing | Registered: March 8, 2009 04:57:44 PM
My best friends labeled me 'The Ryu of Drawing' because I've dedicated my life to it and is determined to get better at every turn. I'm not the greatest artist in the world by far, never was- never will be, and I don't intend to neither. Nonetheless, I am proud of where I stand. I don't care if people don't like who, what, and how I draw whatever nor am I here to be compared or compete with anyone neither. Seriously, I've no concern if I am or (most likely) am not popular in the world of art. Of course, you've never heard of me- I like it like that really. Yeah, my art may "seem familiar" to you but I still remain anonymous to the majority. That's perfect because that's one of the numerous reasons why I love my sobriquet name, CylenX (Silence).
I don't expect everyone to like my artwork. To me, that's what I call normal and pretty much well balanced to understand that there are probably some people in this world who actually think that I have the worst drawing skill ever while others think the opposite. A well descriptive constructive criticism is more welcomed than a compliment. I always say, "Compliments are very bad for your ego's health... because a simple criticism can hurt your feelings..." Most artists can't even handle a friendly critique from their fans without being butthurt. To me, that's what I call a garbage ass artist... Seriously.
I learned on my own to draw and didn't attend any schools for it. My style of art I developed is pretty unique: people say it's manga, but with a twist to it. So I call my style 'Jackpanime' because of that. It's my own style I love and take pride in. I respect and admire all forms of art people have done because I have had my hands on experience with some styles myself at one point or another. So no matter how greater or less skilled a person may be in the world of art, they have played some sort of inspirational part in my life that helped me better myself and I highly respect them. Not like a majority of these so-called "popular" artists who think high and mighty of themselves because they think they're better skilled or whatever their reason may be. That's not a true artist if you ask me. No one is a perfect artist what so ever. One with a lot of skill can learn from another who have just started drawing in some way. What you lack in something could be what another artist (regardless of skill) could teach and/or inspire you.
I thank YHWH 1st for blessing me with the will to be creative and having a good visualization for things. I thank you all (the artists, writers, and photographers) for showing such enthusiasm and skill in art and creativity. You are all inspiring in some form or fashion! Much love and respect to you all.
LAYIN' DOWN MY RULES:
Okay, about me and my artwork is that I don't copy anyone else's ideas at all and I highly don't expect this from anyone else to neither. So if you are going to use any of my ideas, ask first. I don't take copywriting infringements lightly at all and I don't mess around when one tries to screw me over on that. I (don't threat, but I) promise you, I'll do everything in my power to take legal actions if you're making money off from my ideas. All of my personal art work (character creations to be exact) been officially copyrighted and (for all artwork from me to the commissioners) the entire images are digitally watermarked with my name on it.
I won't draw any sexual activity between anyone's characters and my own nor will I ever draw some guy's (or herm's) genitals exposed. So on that note, there will be:
NO PrOn art (Meaning I won't be "Watch worthy" here... Oh well, that's very good to know. By all means, don't watch or unwatch me because it ain't gonna happen. It is what it is.)
NO Diaper/Pedo Fur fetish (The most hilarious fetish I've ever seen in my life)
NO Fat/Hyper/Growth/(whatever, whatever slang) fetish (I really don't care for it)

Just because I watch you doesn't mean you should watch me back. You're seriously wasting your time doing that. Why watch someone who you'll never go visit or check out? Don't watch me over one scribble I did and that be the ONLY picture you ever liked from me. You're better off with just faving it in that case. And it's vice versa for me; just because you watch me doesn't mean I should be obligated to watch you. Being an "attention whore" isn't my style what so ever. I always expect to decline in the "Watched By" numbers simply because some people just add me and never either read this nor look thoroughly through the gallery. I may or may not have that style you like or used to viewing in your Submission box. I post at my own pace and sometimes I tend to fall off the face of the internet because I have other hobbies I love to do in life outside of the computer (and house) ^_^ I sincerely apologize to my (realistic) watchers and friends alike when I do this.
Whew! Now that I got that out the way...I'm going back to my goofy ass self again....and have fun like I always do! :)
Profile ID section is not my ID, it's just a extended gallery display I use.

Vivacité Magazine Release Mid June!
Okay, it's been a long time coming to finish a personal project and I finally designed A magazine called "Vivacité". This book only features my OC, Gun Bun https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13219578/ as the Vivacité staff interviews the assassin in what she does, what she likes, etc. It's a in depth look at who the character is. So what's in the book besides an interview? Well, let's see-
60+ full colored images
106 pages (not counting the front/back cover)
Hidden content - It's an "interactive" PDF book
and...
wait for it....
NSFW topless images.
You read that right. It's a absolute rare NSFW book that just shows a few pictures like that. No, it is not pornographic, but tasteful.
The book will sell for $30 USD and is scheduled to be released around mid June. Starting off selling them myself while I look at places like Amazon, Blurb, and other places where they can sell for me along with selling physical copies as well.
Questions, comments, whatever? Hit me up! Thanks for reading, guys!
