Hey everyone. It's been a long time coming, and I've been meaning to make this clear for awhile now, because unfortunately, I feel like there seems to be a bit of unfairness when it comes to this, and I really, really need to stress this out, and stick firm with this. So without further due, he's my policy, rules, TOS, whatever you wanna call it, when it comes to me buying a commission from you. Now, I understand that a lot of folks prefer payment upfront, and trust me, I feel the same way, payment should be made upfront first before any work is started. What I'm not too okay with, is if I'm like...10th in the que of folks who also want a commission as well, and still gotta pay upfront. That for me is a bit much, and I would strongly prefer to wait until it is my turn, before I go making any form of payment whatever. However, if you're STILL insistent on wanting me to pay right then and there, despite me being being like...20th place on the list of commissioners, then I must ask that the commission be done within a 3-4 month period. I'm sorry, but I am very and heavily strict with this boundary, and would really prefer if this was followed, no acceptions. I've had too many problems in the past with paying upfront, only to not be able to reach the artist after about a month or so, to check on updates. The way I see it, if you wish for me to follow your TOS, boundaries, and policies, then all I ask in return, is that you do the same for me. It can't just be one sided on your end. There needs to be a firm level of fairness and equality. If you feel that this is something you're not comfortable with, then I'll cancel my commission, as I do not wish to put you in a position and/or situation that will make you feel like your boundaries and mines are clashing, thus making things uncomfortable on both ends, and wasting each others' time. So again, if I commission you, and if you wish for payment upfront, then please try to complete the commission within a 3-4 month period. I understand that I lot of folks don't like being given a time limit to complete something, and trust me, I fully understand that, but I've been burnt one too many times, and sadly, can no longer take chances with whom I can trust these days.
