Hello! I hope people have been doing good lately. I have been very unsure and slightly nervous how to word this, or even how to go about handling this process of what I'm wanting to do, but it's probably best to just do it and put it out there.

I've been working and planning out a small writing project called "Before the Quiet", a collection of short stories about my inner world called Zerum. I've had this inner, imaginative world most of my life, and I used to role-play in it, escape to it, and I suppose I missed that feeling and have had a desire to return to it. It's been through some stages that reflect my emotions, memories, experiences, and different parts of my life that I guess I wish to write about, in my weird way.

The basic premise is this:
A wolf named K. lives in the world of Zerum, and he feels he doesn't belong, that something about his life is wrong. He explores the world for answers and perhaps to see beyond the veil, wandering to different sections of the planet while encountering silly creatures.

This short collection of stories will contain some emotional moments, strange concepts of how my mind handles things in life, and other oddities. I am not the best writer, and have barely written since my younger years, so I do ask that you please give feedback and criticism so that I can improve. ^^ I'll also be doing doodles to go with the stories and perhaps "title cards" as well, maybe some small comic strip sequences. Mind you, this will all be traditional art, and I don't have a scanner, but I'll do my best to make sure it's high enough quality.
