So... I was on my way to MFF stuck in heaps of traffic and arriving late. probably didn't get there till 5:30pm. Roommates were kinda getting impatient with me as is. This whole weekend was trying to Gilda but had no luck at all, Probably a wrong place and time sort of thing. The good parts of it was I made a few new furry friends and even saw my fursuit maker, Sunny Creations, which was pretty cool. And I had a chance to go to the Fursuit Parade :). And i gots lots of hugs and cuddles so thats always good too :D

And of course the Chlorine Gas leak incident... The news media portraying it unprofessionally and everything too... They don't even know half of it. Here i was i think the 2nd or 3rd floor. Roaming around for a bit to hang out with more furry friends. Then suddenly an alarm goes off. People were ushered out the door and having to evacuate. Before i exited the doors there was this very pungent strong smell like a gas leak or something. I saw the Entire hotel of the Hyatt completely emptied out, streets were very crowded, and i could barely maneuver around that traffic to get to my friends. Attendees not in fursuit were shivering in the cold so we encouraged fursuiters to hug those not in fursuit to stay warm. I was still wearing mine. Phone was near out of battery but managed a few calls so i could find my friends. We were told to move at least 5 or so times and towards the inside of the Con Center where a dog show was being held. I finally found my friends so i did my best to stick together with them.

Anyways... I survived it and i'm ok. If anything it proved that we can work together in a community and help each other in a time of crisis like that one.

Besides that though i Had a lot of fun and still was a pretty good con this year.
