TARGET is affected by an illusion which distorts their senses, making all that is around them appear bigger, sounds appear louder, simulating the experience of being shrunk to a size of the caster’s choosing. On calm inspection inconsistencies make the illusion easier to disbelieve on calm inspection, but fear and excitement intensify the illusion. The illusion lasts for one round. A smaller size is easier to disbelieve when calm, but makes emotion more difficult to control.

However if the target takes actions in accord with their perceived scale or feels genuine awe, wonder, or fear, it actually wasn't an illusion and instead the target shrunk to the intended size. This becomes their new base height which becomes permanent, unless changed through some growth effect.
