Okay so I have posted a good few pictures of drawings I d.... Yes pictures of drawings, that I've done of the Dreskin. A Reptilian looking race but no one besides me knows what exactly the hell a Dreskin is! So instead of mindly monkey screams like my other Journals this will give you a wee veiw into one of my Creations, My most loved I have worked on these guys since the Fifth Grade and if you see my age now you will know its been a hell of a long time.

The Original Thought:

The original Idea of Dreskin came when I was in the Fifth grade me and my friends loved the game Chrono Trigger and my friend wanted to make a Video Game when we graduated, kind of early for that I know but its kind of our thing. It was a dream I still hold on to. But then they were little more then ovals and heads as pictures, I have improved much since then.

But there they were a Highly Advanced race that still held on to their Ancient Traditions of making swords and such but they used their Technology in many ways. Many ways. Weapons, Bridges anything was.

Also back then they were called Dinks... I swear to god they were. THank god they are not still called that.

The Only Character I had back then for them was C.D. [Cyber Dink - Ugh...] and he was a Reincarnated Warrior brought back by Technology. That was his whole story. In fact I didn't draw out alot of things back then other then that but later on I decided I needed to make more characters and make them a bit more... Complicated.

Dreskin as they are Today:

Much later down the road me and my friends decided the Chrono Trigger idea was poop so we decided to make our own Ideas... and Out came a whole new Fantasy world.

Arnor[Yes nerds we stole the name from lack of imagination] was much like... say... England in the Medieval Ages and had many mountains and to the south had rolling hills. And believe it or not there is a Town called..> Dorito... yes. one night we were thinking up names for downs and we were eating Doritos... Magical is it not?

Imperium [Love it] was much like the Greeks and Roman Empires Plains and not much else but because of this they had a thriving THRIVING continent and a strong army able to get anywhere quickly.

These two Nations were Human majorly with a few other races mixed in Minock which were comprised of Ogres, Goblins, Orcs and Trolls and what was LEFT of the Dark Elves , [We will get to that a little later] OH... And Dwaves in the mountains... EVERY fantasy world needs the short drunken bastards... EVERYONE... YOU HEAR?! ITS A RULE!

The Elves of the World were... Not the kind elves that you know from Tolkien and other books... They were assholes... Major assholes... You know that elves in most novels and tales of magic are snooty and such but we took it to a whole 'nother level. These elves Live on a Smaller continent between Arnor and Imperium that is littered with Forests and Groves[of course the fruity bastards] and for the most part hated everything that wasn't like them... Humans were too... Primitive to be worth their time especially the ones of Arnor. The Imperium were only little better. And the Dreskin, My little race, were hated most of all because of their Break Troughs thought as 'unnatural'. The worst they have done though was the near eradication of thier 'dark' brothers, The Dark Elves.

The Dark Elves aren't really the nicest folks to be around SURE but they left the people on the surface alone and only bothered the Elves in minor disputes, at least minor to them... To the High Elves they were a blight and needed to be destroyed and destroy they did.

Finally we come to my little race... The Dreskin...They descend from a Dragon named Sputnik[Need a new name... Help?] They live on a Medium Sized Continent to the South of the other three the climates range from Tropical to mountainous. They are well known for there Intelligence and Ingenuity. They have managed to Harness the power of steam and many other things to their advantage and make the grandest Ranged Weapons in the world... The Steam Powered Rifle.... A threat to... Elves and their sissy arrows. They also had many precious ores that made their armors and weapons strong.

The Characters from this age were numerous but I will Hit on the main ones.

Cypher Darius - You should recognize this guy from my Gallery. He is the much improved version of Cyber Dink, I kept his First two letters. He is still a Reincarnated Warrior and is the ONLY Dreskin, Alive that is, that has the use of Magic and is very good at using it. This time he was brought back by Science AND Magic from their Allies in Arnor. He is good friends with one Arnor General and has a Calm but Confident personality.

Magnus - The Scientist responsible for most if not all the Innovations with in the Hundred years that he has taken his position. He is smart and is always inventing. He is a Stern person but cares for what he creates.

The King [Thats its] - A Great Warrior and leader but aging. He only has One Heir to the throne and no Wife, Sickness and all, Original That. He has had the unfortunate task of Negotiating with Elves and Arnor. And remember Elves are assholes. I will drive that home if I need to.

Finally, Negas - The Very First magic user in the Dreskin Race and a powerful one at that seeing as he has Dragon Blood in his veins. He was born as a Black Dreskin, a Rare and Ominous color for a child to have, despite this though he was a normal Dreskin Child and grew into a Powerful General thanks to his prowess with Sword and Magic. Though... He was not loved by one other General... And That General was known to be especially cruel. Finally at the boiling point the General sent thugs to Negas's home and ... Well... His Family didn't make it. But at the sight of them he flew into a rage a deep seated that came with the Black Dreskin's kind. He killed the thugs and the General as well when he caught up with him. His rage though could not be sated. He retreated for a while into the mountains and came back out ... Changed... He had learned more about the... Darker Sides of Magic... Necromancy... and so many other things... With his power he raised an Undead Dreskin army to attack the Capital but was eventually Slain in the fight by the former king himself. Negas's name was to go down as the most Villainous and Evil in their history... The Tragic story of his family was forgotten.
