What's Gray about? It's a Cold War graphic bildungsroman about a kid waaay smarter than I trying to discover his family's past, and preparing for the future. And doing so while living on the brink of what, for all he knew, could be the apocalypse. It's about rigidly divided people who live a block away from each other. It's about war veterans of all kinds, and from all sides. Veterans like impossibly resolute ground troops, to the indispensable masters of machinery within the world's navies and air forces. And the brilliant scientists who either made war safer and quicker, or all the more brutal and egregious. It's about technology. It's of course about hate, and love. And it's also about science, like General Relativity, quantum mechanics, particle physics, and all of that cool shit.
It lies in a morally, well.... whitish-black area.
