Hey lot!
It's been a crazy year, and I have to say, it has sucked butt. I mean that. This year was the worst that I have gone through yet, from the mental bombardment from my family, the several medical diagnosis' that my family has gotten, it's just been rough.

ROUGH MEDICAL WARNING
I am not going to keep it from peeps though, my fam has had it rough. At the beginning of December my little sis was diagnosed with a clotting factor, making her chances for a heart attack and stroke higher. Then they found a hole in her heart and told her she would need open heart surgery, then they looked closer and noticed it was small enough that it shouldn't be causing the issues she is having. Then, three days before Christmas I got the best gift of all, A cancer diagnosis. Don't worry, I'll be fine. It's thyroid cancer, some of the best cancer you can have. Very curable and very survivable. I am slated to have surgery in the next couple of weeks and very likely a few rounds of radiation therapy. Don't think my doc will do chemo for me, so I can keep the hair I have been growing out for almost a year now.

Throughout all of this, I did ask my landlord if I could have a therapy cat, an ESA, for the sake of coping with everything. Sadly, I was told no, just logistically, it wasn't very possible and they would really prefer not, so I am not going to fight the people in charge of if I can keep my contract or not.

I am looking for a job, though, a junior Software Engineering position/ internship (If you know anywhere looking for a remote capable place lmk). Since I am needing to take the year off of school I should have some more time to do some commissions too(not that I have gotten any yet anyways). My plan is to do some fun art and work some more on my tarot cards until I am able to get some commissions in. I may even start streaming in the afternoons for me, depending on what winds up happening for me with my job hunt and such.

So yeah, cancer, surgery and new opportunities ahead of me. I am trying to keep a positive outlook on things and I think it has been helping. If you have any questions on things or updates on me as I go through things, just ask. I don't want to scare people with what I'm going through and I am just trying to keep myself calm as well. Support is always nice but I understand if peeps can't. I'll update generally again around the end of February or beginning of March, as I should be recovered by then.
For now, I leave with my motivational call that I stole from someone who has been an absolute legend to me, I AM PIKMIN HEAR ME MOO!!!
