Hey! Long time no see! Happy holidays too! All the ones I missed… I hope that this journal doesn't come as much of a surprise. I feel like I need to say something about the silence, but if that's something you don't care about, or you just don't remember me, you can ignore this.

These past few months things have been chaotic, and things have slowed down; I lost momentum, and that takes time and energy to build back up, both things life has been very stingy with lately. But I'm still here! not dead just yet. In fact, I'm here to upload all the art I've been working on during this time, and I haven't been able to share it until now. It's not much, but I hope it can make up for at least some of the wait!

Now that I'm here, I also wanted to be transparent about my ongoing projects—well, at least the only one I have right now: the comic. I haven't forgotten about it; long ago I did say that I was going to implode if I didn't get it done, and that wasn't a lie. I've been got by my own ambition and fears. I know it sounds silly—and it is—but it's something I've let snowball into something bigger than me. So it's happening. I can't promise when or if it's going to be worth the wait, but I'm determined to see it through. So if that's something that you cared about, I really appreciate it, and I'm sorry for the silence, but that's all I can promise right now.
