...Was good for me, but only personally. I got out of debt in late 2023, and progressed slowly towards responsible adulthood. I got into D&D and am head over heels for the "World's Nicest Necromancer", his friends and their adventures. I was more responsible about video games...for a little while. I think I should do the No New Games Until I Beat One I Already Have Again. I held to that until May previously.

Deep went through another shift of his Identity form into "The Papabeast". I'm becoming more honest with my preferences and kinks, which also includes "sub kinks" I am NOT into, and being firmer about my boundaries. It's amazing how many things people default think I'm into because I'm into something else, and how quickly they dive into the B they think MUST come with A. (I won't give examples). Despite that, I really hope he, and I, create a welcoming environment for people who speak to us.

Let's talk about the White Elephant in the room. I am Canadian. Our closest ally (whom people think of us as a lighter, sometimes weaker version of, grr) have not only drank the Kool-Aid but seem to be doing a juice cleanse with it. He's got all my political representatives in a tizzy, with them eager to have their own election. Please, No. I don't like JT much, but it's clear if it happens we'll either get PP, eager to Leeroy Jenkins the country in his own direction, and JS, who only seems to know how to whine about the other two. We look to be circling the same crusty drain our neighbours are, and our leaders are eagerly paddling TOWARD it.

Finally, I might be in a position, if I continue to behave and work, to have my own space again. But everything is a maybe at best with how crazed the world is on so many levels.

I'm cautiously optimistic up close...and battering down the hatches big picture.
