I'm a semi-closeted crinklefur artist (even less closeted (but still somewhat closeted) now) with low self esteem and a narcissism complex, so much so that occasionally I suffer delusions of adequacy.
I have (had) another FA account which was Dodgy-Cur but I lost access to it in the great security lockout of whenever-the-heck-that-was.
As I've decided to try to become more active within the art community again I've opened this new account. Totally didn't steal Dodgy-Cur's skin and assume his life or anything, it's genuinely me... for realz.
Alright, so here's what happened. I signed up to FA all that time ago with what was my standard furry email address at the time. When that email address got infected I basically closed it down and used a new one... which I forgot to update on places like this 'cuz "hey, what's the worst that could happen" (hurr-de-durr, frickin' moron!). So, then all that security stuff went down and all passwords got reset meaning that I couldn't change mine as the email address it was associated with was not only long dead but rotting and full of germs.
Since then I haven't done much arting anyway but I'll stick up what I have done.

A few things I will say, though;
With me it's not grammar Nazism, it's OCD. Don't take it personally if I happen to corrrect your grammar/spelling, a lot of the time I literally have no choice and sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it.
Don't read too much into it if I call you 'mate'. I'm an 80s born Brit, I call everyone 'mate'.
Edit: Y'know what, never mind. I'll just take extra care to make sure it isn't an issue.
And finally: A friendly note about thanks for faves, watches, shouts, random hugs and warnings about brain-melting viruses (okay, made that last one up... I hope) :
While I really do appreciate each and every one I get, I often don't manage to get the time to respond to them when I'd like so it's an embarrassing mess when I finally do).
Also, I know a lot of people don't appreciate their shoutbox filling up with something that they feel goes without saying.
So from now on, please assume that I am eternally thankful that my submissions bring you joy and that the thanks are an implicit part of said fave/watch/hug so I don't need to spam you with belated and unnecessary thanks.
Other general information;
I'm a digital artist and crafter (welding metal stuff into other metal stuff FTW!).
My main (and currently only) 'sona is a quantum hybrid/anomaly; there are aspects which are the same in every universe making him an impossibility, yet here he is.
I am a firm supporter of the right to free speech (but not the assumption that "free speech" means "I have a right to a stage and a crowd so I can say whatever I want without consequence") except when it comes to bananas... bananas are inherently bigoted and should not be allowed to speak ever.
I can't think of anything else funny or relevant to put here so... just... look, if you want to know anything just bleedin' ask me, ok?

A heartwarming little bedtime story.

A long time ago, in a galaxy- wait, no, that's something else. The first part's right, though, I'll start from there.
A long time ago I had another FA account (the one containing the originals of all the redraw I did eventually) that I lost access to in the great password purge. Couldn't get it back because I'd also lost access to the email address that I'd signed up with, a great shame but c'est la vie, so this account was just sort of hanging there.
Now, the crux; I used my usual Internet handle and 'sona for that account, no camouflage at all (which, for some reason, I did again when I finally signed up a new account)... so anyone (alright, Internet and RL friends, at least) trying to Google me to find something I'd done or just for poops and giggles would potentially stumble across it and see what I was "into". This was a source of great fear for me, especially with the usual anxiety as well... Damocles didn't understand schlitt about stuff hanging over your head until he risked his furry kinks showing up in a Google search!
Well, the other day, I decided to get over that fear by just getting it out there and letting it be known. So I made a long post on twitter, which is where almost all of my interaction happens, mentioning that I was AB/DL/Babyfur and that this didn't change who I was... which I posted at 3am... then I panicked and deleted at 6am... then vanished for a couple of days terrified that I'd screwed up because some people had seen it and I didn't know how it had been taken.
After those few days I levelled my head out, took some advice and decided to try again, so I did. Long story- er, slightly less long- it turns out I have super-awesome, accepting friends who are fine with this aspect of me (don't worry, I'm not gonna be using this as an excuse to flood everyone's feed with BF stuff, I have a separate twitter for that).
Thing is, while the fear of being found out was dangling over me I didn't really do anything on the babyfur side to reduce the chances of being caught and, I guess, because my brain said if I didn't then I could pretend it wasn't happening (my brain, as you can see, is a lying b'stard). BUT! That fear is now gon- drastically reduced (there's always fear) and I'm really hoping I can actually become more active on the li'lfur scene, including dropping more doodles here from time to time.
TL;DR - Have some courtesy and actually read it when someone pours their heart out, please!
Alright, fine, actual TL;DR (because I do waffle a bit) - I'm at least somewhat out of the AB/DL/babyfur closet, my friends are amazing, my anxiety levels over this one particular thing have plummeted and I'ma try to start drawing more stuff again, including more li'lfur stuff.
