Wicket, her storyline, and the split across time.
4 weeks ago
(WIP as this will be extensive.)
::First, a little bit of ooc backstory for context.::
Wicket was first started in Guild Wars 2, in the games open beta in 2012 as a Charr. This was because at the time, she was not yet imagined as an avian at all:

Regardless of this, she always acted avian, so rather quickly, a new bit of art was put together in two parts, one for her body, and a second for her skull-like face.

::The Dark One that Became Four::
The First Wicket, the Original, was a necromancer. She was utterly evil as a child of the Feywilds and being raised by the Dark Fey there. Her young years were ones of self-isolation, as even she felt she was too evil to befriend, and those who did grow close to her she drove away or killed. She grew up alone, powerful, and did too much damage to ever be forgiven in her mind.

Yet, something about nature had planted a seed within Wicket. Perhaps her growing up in the Feywilds, or perhaps it was the Great Pale Tree that she spent much of her time inside in her youth, alone with the massive plants and clear glowing waters. This lead to the first split in her, the first Wicket that changed drastically as they reached away from undeath, and toward nature.
This would lead to the first split off in her life of death, as the great ambush in the Citadel taught her that redundancy was needed to continue her foul ways. This would lead to the formation of the Withered Dusk; A powerful profane ritual that transfers the spirit of the slain into a newly deceased body that died of simple causes. With several other witches she performed this ritual, tricking them into using their own souls, as well as the sacrifice they had provided to fuel the rituals extreme cost.
While the others would continue on, she would remain lurking, waiting, and growing in strength and malevolence.
::Malar, The Balance::
The first would be a split toward nature.
Many deep betrayals lead to her being banished to hell by the very Infernalists she called allies for a century, forced to endure torture and the separation of mind from body. Only just managing to maintain her sense of self through the raw fires of revenge and hatred, and eventually was released, and left the hells to make her way to the island of Arelith.
Still obsessed with power, it was here Wicket very quickly came upon Malar, the Lord of Beasts and of the Savage Hunt. His dogma of strength over weakness in nature spoke deeply to her destructive ways.
