I am not invincible to time, the surrality of age (G)

Past few years, I've been thinking a lot...
The way my breathing shortens, the way my chest heaves....the way weird things are spat up and a wastebin is filled with tissues. I leave this journal in place of a reminder...a reminder that at some point I might not be able to maintain my presence. I should not have to wake up to heaving chest pains and coughs, yet here we are...here I am... I'm not the same as I once was 20 years ago when I was at the peak of life...I've seen people come and go, I've seen wars come and go (mental states mostly)
A stark reminder as well from all the ghost accounts of artists I once knew, or dragons that I've seen with their infinity symbols that have gone to the great beyond
Time is and will always be our enemy.
