i found a way trough the internet blockade. a pricy one but it lets me do some basic browsing and chats.
i wrote a sort of Q&A style thing for everyone that has questions.

Are you okay?
I am ok and healthy other then a dental problem that I cant afford to fix right now. Mind is boiled
from boredom but thats the worst of it. As I said before its a boring small town thats too conservative
for civil rebellion and too far away from anything cool to get bombed. But we did hear all the
shockwaves from nearby places.
As you might expect my mental health had a bit of a nose dive without my usual escapes and friends. I
specifically remember that time I spoke to a close friend about how fragile online friendships can get, it turned
into a prophecy.
Surprisingly I didn’t explode and got used to it, I guess I was already down from the previous cut so
this new one didn’t shock me as much. Still the fomo was sad and annoying. I woke up every day
expecting to open up youtube to my morning coffee but then remembered it wasnt there.
Its almost like loosing a beloved pet.
I genuinliy broke down crying at one point, I was surrounded by really dark thoughts, even wrote down
some kind of will in case something happned to me.
I am doing better now.
What was it like ?
The propeganda was on max overdrive here. The noise was nuts, I was swearing like a sailor on meth
at all the trucks with propeganda blaring out of them. The nearby Daniel temple became a propeganda
powerhouse and the speakers were so loud I could hear them across the river, outloud.
Thankfully we got an amazing rainy season that shut off a lot of their fake gatherings for a while.
But the propeganda was not the worset part..
my computer was basically ruined for most of it
How did you survive 2 months of no internet?
Well it was EVEN WORSE THEN LAST TIME ! I had JUST WIPED my system drive to fix my data
fuckup from the month before. That meant I was stuck with a raw linux installation and non of my
work apps.
So no krita and blender for basically 2 weeks.
And non of my games at all because no steam and no Nvidia drivers (fuck you again Nvidia) Even
VIDEOS would not work because I had not installed anything yet.
Fortunately my Linux ISO collection saved me. And I mean it literally this time not pirated movies.
I used them to run my PC and watch some movies that weren’t h265 while I figured it out.
Eventually I found an old Ubuntu copy on my harddrive that I had not wiped yet. (thank god) and it
was just about new enough to run blender and had drivers. So I lived on that for the past two months
and some. It took 5 minutes to booth because it wasnt even on my SSD.
Soon I managed to update it and install useful software by modifiying some special settings so I could
download apps from Local repositories. Turns out even tough linux softwware is hard to come by in
iranian sites, they have local servers that distribute them like linux normally does. So it was like
nothing had changed at least for standard linux software. A newer Nvidia driver gave me way better
blender performance too.
And I used MPV to get videos back, I think Alpha knows this one, its the one with crazy terminal
features that I used to play lord of the rings. The one with 10 thousend settings
Still I didn’t even had Vsyinc so all videos had mad screen taring. But it beats not having anything to
watch
Glass half full, it was a good learning opportunity. I got better at Linux because of it. That skill comes
at a premium
What was your entertainment?
While gone I watched all of classic Ben 10 on our local youtube ripoff and many seasons of walking
dead that I got from the video club, golden boy and goat. I finished all of handmaids tale and all of
Rick and morty. I also re watched several childhood movies, unpopular opinion but cars 2 is not that
bad.
I played a lot of beamNG and automation on my sister’s computer that still had games on it.
In fact i worked on my Offroader Car for the offroad challenge. Its TOO powerful. It kept breaking
the clutch and it was so fast I was flying off the dunes. I had to tone it down just so make it drivble.
Did you do writing?
Thinking I might die , I worked a lot on my StoryBible for aliverse™ and refined what was already
there as well as added new content to it. Its 40 pages longer then before. I also worked more on
roobi’s origin story and started journaling.
What artworks did you make?
I could not make new stuff due to my broken system and no refrence material to work with, BUT I
have made significent progress in several things !
All that Quiet time gave me ample focus to work, dare I say not having youtube for so long might have
rewired my brain into paying attention x3.
But most importently .. Curse you Clover ! (a character commisions for someone i know)
I liked my clover model so much I went back and Re invented my art style ! Every horse based OC I
had is now basically remastered with a new head design. Thats a ton of work because I have 6 horse
OCs ! Even the unfinished graphite model was reworked halfway there.
I didn’t wipe away the character design mind you, but I FINALLY, Dropped the MLP influence from
my art style and gave everyone MY horse design. I stopped being a pussy (the cowardly version) and
boldly changed things around and did horses like I would have done any other animal. Mainly I
started making the snouts wider and taller.
And shocker.. it looked way better. They now look like horses ! (duh) with a more feral ish look and
longer snouts and proper chins and lips. The eyes look far more natural and neutral with far less errors
and the bodies look way nicer at the same time. Not only that but the faces Animate and pose far
easier then before.
Minty specifically looks JUST like how he feels in my head now. Its pretty much night and day.
In fact they ALL look so much better. Donraptor looks so good I cant even call it the same model
anymore. Id have to charge for sending it to him x3
This cascaded into other species as well, mainly canine ones. See I had Developed some VERY bad art
habbits from not being able to achive my vision in the past.
I originally did have a more natural art style with the long snouts but I didn’t have the skills to do it
right, which made me avoid doing it properly and just default to making models extra cutesy.
However my improved eye for proportions has really changed the game.


Whats your opintion on the matter?
reffer to my latest artwork about the topic but to clearify,as a real iranian that has never stepped foot outside the border, i and millions of others fully support isreal here. we ASKED them to bomb the regime. we were screaming for them to do it for months. we want this regime gone and out.
We had entire protests and internet campaigns about it.
we cannot openly celebrate because the regime will murder us for it but rest assured that so far we are happy that the worst people on the planet got what they deserved. and we are dissapointed that they didnt suffer enough while it happened. i mean it.
this regime deserves their downfall.
