I'm relatively new to the furry community, even though I've been drawing anthro since I was little. I guess what inspired me was Pokemon, The Lion King, and Hamtaro since that was what I've grown up with. Same as with my fascination with dinosaurs, bones, etc. What inspired me at the beginning, however, really doesn't show in my art unless I see the style and draw from it, a.k.a. having a "base" to start on. I'm not the brightest nor dimmest fur, and I can have a temper, but for the most part I'm easy to get along with but very awkward, since I have had emotional problems, shyness and insecurity since I was about five. I've even had a teacher send a note home about my over-sensibility which I couldn't read at the time because.. Well.. I couldn't read many words. I play a couple of instruments and am planning to learn more. Right now I'm taking string bass and piano lessons. I personally don't think I can draw very well, but my careers teacher says otherwise and she also says that I should take it up as a career because my characters are very memorable. I'm really on here to make new friends that are more like me and because my older brother has an account on here as well. I really enjoy drawing and writing poetry mostly because it helps me get my emotions out. I have a dog who is a black lab mix and about four years old. Other than her, I have no other pets, even though I'd like to own a snake or some fish or a cat. I'm willing to try new things. In fact, one of my favourite shows on television is Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. My favourite thing to draw with is just a pencil and paper, and I like to colour with my markers, coloured pencils or my computer if I have enough time. I wish I had a tablet, but sadly I don't have enough money to buy one. I love anime. I grew up with it since I was a toddler and now I'm stuck to it.. If I'm asked what my favourite colour is, I'd just say rainbow, because I like almost all the colours and I can't choose just a few unless it's a dire situation.. I have asthma and allergies. Uhm.. I don't know what else to say.. Oh, I loooooove stuffed animals and soft blankets. I really am afraid of bugs. They just creep me out.. I get all squirmish and such. I'm okay with worms, though. Oh, I especially don't like the flying insects. I like nature and informational books. I guess that's it for now.
