Concerning Artworks Published February 2025 to July 2025 (G)
The artwork I produced in the period of February to July of 2025 was made with with the integration of AI tools in my workflow. Consequently, because I failed to disclose this, when this information became public knowledge at the end of July, I immediately took the proactive measure of issuing automatic refunds to all people who purchased my merchandise, and offered refunds all Patrons who had pledged in 2025. In addition, I have suspended billing for current Patrons since the end of July. For commissioners, all but one (who has not allowed me to contact them) has been contacted directly and a resolution has been reached. All offered refunds stand in perpetuity unless claimed or waived, and have been standing since the beginning of August.
The artworks in question were removed by me from my FurAffinity gallery to ensure compliance with the website's terms of service. Artworks published prior to and following the February to July 2025 period are not AI-assisted. Commissioners currently engaged with me are aware of how I have used AI, and no money has been exchanged for these pending commissions as I charge upon completion of work. Timelapses and WIPs are being posted on Twitter to demonstrate that I am doing the work, and this is the best evidence I am able to provide.
This statement has been delayed because I needed time to reflect, and needed time to apologise and reach understanding with friends and peers. Among these people, I still feel welcome. It was never my intent to deceive or defraud this community, I had simply been pushing myself too hard and too fast to produce works to an unreasonable standard, and in doing so I had lost sight of the fact that despite my time investment, the work was not wholly my own. For the future, I don't see any point in publishing artwork that I cannot prove I have made.
I'm glad this whole thing happened, because it tells me that people give a shit.

Just don't get so lost pursuing 'perfect' that you lose what makes your stuff special and yours. I like the messy background textures for example.
