she controls yet comforts
my queenly consort
driving the edge of the blade
she haunts and terrifies
changes before my eyes
breaking the edge of the plane
every full cycle of phases
the moon my mind crazes
shattering the edge of my brain
first it pulls and then prods
the beast within me nods
contorting my physical features
over skin dark fur sprouts
all over and round about
draining my humanity like lechers
my enamel hardens and lengthens
my muscles all strengthen
ripping apart my naked form
the bone becomes longer
a tail she does conjure
most definitely far from the norm
my vision sharpens and narrows
senses of smell and taste arrow
as the creature inside comes free
hearing shifts to the top of my skull
i fall to all fours as they go
and know that a wolf i now be
please heed my warning now
all about me you now know
just hear what i have to say
you must lock your doors tonight
you must bar your windows tight
for i am out to prowl today
don't you take this for granted
you'll just regret once it's started
and i don't want to cause a brawl
i know my howling will freeze
as it echoes through the breeze
bouncing off of every alley wall
last moon a young man didn't listen
i still remember how his tears glistened
as my teeth tore at his throat
as his warm blood soaked my maw
as he tried to break free of my claw
but he knew his chance was remote
one moon a young man was breaking
one moon... please don't be faking...
his eyes flashed open, just like mine
he shivered and quaked
now his thirst we must slake
as he stalks in the evening rime
where once i transformed alone
where was sanity was gone
together my mate and i hunt
but still heed my warning
i don't need any more scorning
for we have gathered quite the affront
