I am a comic editor/publisher by trade, a freelance writer by choice, and a retail monkey by neccessity. In the past, I have worked as a manga rewriter, a porn editor, a booth babe, a bookseller and a comic shop manager. I rarely have time to write much anymore as I am a complete workaholic at my other jobs. I do like taking photos with my digital camera, so that's probably mostly what you will see here. I warn you, most of the pictures will be of my cats, since I am disgustingly obsessed with them.
I love old movies, sushi, nail polish, shoes, vintage clothes and cats. I hate onions, mushrooms, the telephone, people who can't follow directions and the internet.
I have a livejournal at http://doronjosama.livejournal.com where I complai-- er, TALK about working in comics and other stuff in my life. I don't mind being friended on it if you find it interesting, but be warned I only friend back if I have met you in person. I am just kinda private that way.
IMPORTANT: I sometimes will go months without logging into my FA page, usually due to being too busy with work. So, this is an incredibly slow way to get in touch with me. Just a heads up.

FUNDED! Genus #96 is GO!
The Genus #96 Kickstarter reached its funding goal with six hours to spare! (Which means, if you want, there are still some now-risk free original art perks that were unclaimed...!) I am so relieved and grateful that we made out goal! Huge thanks to everyone who shared and retweeted, reblogged and backed the project! Now comes the easy part of getting the book printed for everyone.
We are hoping to have the book in time for Texas Furry Fiesta in Dallas at the end of February (unless something goes hinky with shipping or there's some kind of major printing issue), so if you want to pick up your book there, you will totally be able to do that. We are also going to make the DRM-free PDF version available for everyone who pledged, regardless of which tier they pledged for, just as a thank you.
Whew, what a big pile of stress this removes! Whew! :D

I mean I got a mint copy and it only cost me $20.00.
Speaking of which I am trying to find copies of Genus Male #1 & 2. I have them but the top edge of the front cover on them got banged up.
There was a guy on ebay that has one and its not even in as good a shape as mine and hes was asking $100 something for his.
