I'm rather new to this whole game, but I'll try to catch up.
I'm 20 currently, going to college in California, majoring in Psychology and Creative Writing with a minor in Japanese. Also known as the 'make people look at you funny' track.
I'm curious. I'm curious in that I suppose I am an odd sort of fellow, and I'm curious in the traditional sense of being fatal to cats.
I look at most furry writers and I end of seeing a lot of the same genres: love stories, teen love stories, gay love stories, and of course erotica. I try to be a little more varied in my various stories, though there will be some of these theme possibly. I probably will never write full on sex stories, if only because of the adage 'write what you know' and me not knowing a lot about that subject, and I also think there's so much more that could be done with the idea of anthropomorphs than we've so far accomplished. If a story requires sex, I'll put it in, but I won't just have a story be nothing but a lead up to the sex.
I don't really write stories based on commission or request, I just tend to get hit with ideas that I think are interesting. I have widely varied interests, so my writing could cover any of a million genres depending on what the idea that hit me was.
I like the big discussions. I like arguing my point, I like the big questions: Why are we here, what defines humanity, and what is love? (points to all of you who thought of Night at the Roxbury). I tend to be on Furnet under my user name quite often, so give me a holler if you'd like to talk or cross swords on any topic.

I am a student at California State University Northridge, and our school has recently decided to allow funding for a LGBT center on campus. Part of the proposal is to have a library pertaining to LGBT issues. So, if anyone here has a book on coming out, on the history of gay rights, on gay social issues, or just fiction by/about LGBT people, please send me a message and we'll talk about how to get it over here. Thanks so much in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

Bay Area Houseguest
Hello, folks. So, I'm going to be moving up to the Bay Area for work by the end of July, and would really like to check some places out before I move. I'm planning on heading up from the 2nd to the 7th of July to look at apartments/living situations, and need places to stay while up there. I already have lodgings confirmed for the nights of the 2nd and 3rd, but would like to sleep in something besides my car.
I am pretty tidy, will bring a sleeping bag, and will probably ask for nothing more of a commitment than a few quiet hours at night to sleep. I may be able to slide some money your way (probably after I've worked some so I'm not cutting into my glorious ramen budget) and at the very least will be quite grateful.
Thank you very much, and I hope to hear from some of you soon.
