                Hi, I'm Elnath!
I mostly work in sculpture. Be sure to check the scraps for some WIPS but from now on I'll post WIPs in the main gallery until they're completed then move everything but pics of the completed project to the scraps.

Animatronic update and Furry Action Figures.

The animatronic is slowly coming along. I'm sculpting with firm Chevant clay which is very stiff and hard to work with. The primary sculpt is almost complete, just needs a few details, gotta make sure there are no overhangs where the mold will catch, smoothing then finally to make the mold.
I might need to use silicone as a mold material which I wasn't planning on, but the original material I wanted to use may get too hot during the curing process and melt the sculpture before it retains shape. I'll take lots of good pictures of it so if the mold fails I can start over with Wedclay and since I already know what it's going to look like I should be able to do it much more quickly.
Wedclay is much softer and easier to use, though it will dry after a few days(Which I can prolong) and it's not reusable, but it will withstand the heat of making a polyester resin mold.
Because that's a long, arduous process I've been taking breaks in between with smaller sculpts like more action figure heads. In about two weeks(With my busy schedule) I've just about completed a coyote head and tail, need to put the final touches on painting then I'll post it.
Already have plans to make a snow leopard next and possibly open up commissions, I've been looking into bulk-buying bodies if I can get enough interest.
In other news I got my airbrush set up finally and it's hella fun to use. I was given an Iwata with a compressor, the nozzle was damaged and needed to be replaced but for $50 I have a professional set up. I would like to get a cheapo Testors brush or something that has a broader spray for doing primer and base coats.
Now that it's up and running you can expect to see a few more completed sculptures appear here soon-ish.
I work full time now which has left me with less free time over all, but valuing the little free time I have a lot more so it's resulting in a little more productivity art-wise. But damn I wish I could just sit and do nothing for a while, or see my friends.
