Very easy going fur, I welcome everyone with open arms but am very defensive when it comes to me and my friends, trolls wont be tolerated. I've been a fur for around 10 years now and discovered SL when i was little more than a pup. I've met alot of good friends over the years, had alot of experiences both good and bad but nonetheless being a part of the furry fandom has given me peace of mind, being able to share ideas and hobbies with like-minded individuals is the best thing anyone can ask for.

Post MFF Round-up
So! As some of you may have read my last journal post I was having a really bad last couple of years and I was considering leaving the furry community altogether. My last planned convention was to be MFF 2017 as a final goodbye. Well now that it has ended I can safely say that events leading up to the con, during the con, and after the con have convinced me to stay. The con was amazing and it was sorely needed to help relieve the tons of stress built up on my shoulders, I was able to let go of real world drama and responsibilities for a small period of time and I can't describe how much it helped.
I live in California, MFF is in Rosemont, Illinois. I decided it would be a great idea to road trip it. I went from my home, to Arizona to pick up my first passenger, then north through Vegas in Nevada, up through Utah, Colorado was breathtaking, then it was a long stretch through the most boring state in the world Nebraska, into Iowa where passenger number 2 was acquired, then into Illinois to our destination. Nothing but small pit stops to stretch, a breakfast in Denver, and a dinner in Des Monies. The trip there and back.. never again. It was painful and tiring. A newfound hatred of distance and time, and a newfound appreciation for 90mph >.>.
But at the end of it, MFF. Our savior. The con was amazing, the city was beautiful since they had an abundance of Christmas lights and decorations lining the convention center and nearby areas. The weather surprisingly was rather good, no snow or rain at con, some was encountered on the drive back home, but all in all it was nice. And as a husky the colder climates are more my natural habitat than California! I have so many great experiences just in that one weekend, and many great pictures along the way. We even managed to snag seats on the Spirit of Chicago for a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan!
But in closing I want to say that I had an amazing time.. it really brought me back to why I'm a part of this community in the first place. There are ups and downs, a lot of downs, but the positives outweigh the negatives. I met new friends, rekindled relationships with old ones, even got to try new foods and had the best dining experience I've ever had. A special thanks to
for not only being there to show me around but for letting me be her handler while she suited, letting me crash at her room for a few hours to play games and drink booze, and for helping me get back on my paws when I needed it. And also
for letting me be there for your very first convention ever and helping it be one to remember, I really enjoyed your company and hope to see you again next year.
Next up on the list? FC2018, which is my local con and a nice birthday gift to myself since it happens to fall on it every year~
