Sweet Maya mother of Buddha, has it really been four years since I've interacted at all with the online community?

Greetings loved ones. This is quite surreal for me, so I apologize if I feel the need to explain a lot of things. It's been about four years since I last logged into this site, or had any contact with old acquaintances here and within any other artist community. I hate bringing up old business, but as some of you know, some crazy drama went down which may have been the primary reason for my absence, only for me to forget that any of this still existed.

Well, I'm a lot older now, and a lot has changed over the years (including my psychological stability =D). I'm going into my final year of University *fingers crossed* and have almost completely disassociated myself from the world of art. I've since declared a double major in Japanese and Religious Studies, focusing primarily on the academic side of life. So yes, I've not made a single piece of work for about the same amount of time that I've been absent.

That being said, art is still a big part of my life and a great inspiration, despite having become more of a critic. Something drove me to check out recent happenings here and I've considered becoming more involved, if only as a means of stress release. As far as my own work goes, I hardly think I'll be making much more than I have in recent years. But it did make me wonder if I was still "capable" of producing anything as I did in years gone by. My lack of scanner doesn't help, but whatever. So I dunno, I may make an effort to show up a little more often. As far as art goes, we'll see. I do think that I would like to create a knew account though, as re-associating myself with this username is not really something I'm keen on doing. I'll get back to you. In the meantime, I'm happy to see so many familiar faces are still working hard. =)
