Honest Question: Do You Normally Reshare Your Art Comms?

Here's a situation I've run into, but it's worth thinking about:
So when you make art for people, and they post it online, do you post it to your account too? I try not to overflood the website or not share art if other people post it. But also it's my artwork, even if I made it for them? Do I post it on my pages too even though they posted it first? Am I even ALLOWED to do that?
A lot of this is new to me, so forgive me if this all seems kind of silly. ^ ^;
What do I do? It feels like a curious conundrum.
