How to describe myself? This is a question I never enjoy answering. I always feel like I am trying to sell myself to others as something more than what I feel I am. It always feels like when I claim something, it might be too much. I constantly feel like I might come across as insulting, or more than I am, or just not right, so please excuse me if I come across that way.

I try to follow a simple rule: be happy with myself. In many ways I succeed; in many ways I fail. I tend to be a perfectionist, which probably leads to many of my perceived shortcomings, but makes me all the happier when I pull something off and it is good. I am interested in writing, but have difficulty getting my ideas out. I want to learn to make art, but my perfectionism makes me view all my attempts as failures. I want to write music, but my ideas, although plentiful, are often too fleeting for me to convey. There is, however, one thing I do consider myself fair at: programming.

My actual existence on the internet more-or-less started when I was 13 (which, coincidentally, is my favorite number). Since then, I have learned PHP, C, and C++, as well as some knowledge of Javascript/HTML/CSS (although they diminish in skill in that order).

Even more than playing games, I enjoy listening to music. I tend towards electronica, rock, and some classical/opera, but I cannot really tell you what I like unless I start listing songs.
