My boyfriend's been very sick for a couple of days, so it's been hard for me to focus on drawing. To make things worse, I had to call over an ambulance yesterday because he suddenly felt really unwell and his upper body became so tense that he felt paralysed. His hands were all clenched and he couldn't relax them. Same for the muscles in his face, he could barely speak because his lips wouldn't move. He was so tense it was hurting him, but he couldn't do anything about it. It was really frightening to see him in this state.

Fortunately he seemed a bit better by the time the ambulance arrived. They checked his blood sugar, pressure etc and it all seemed fine. They think it may have been hyperventilation (although it seems odd, because his breathing wasn't much more frequent than normal), or perhaps a panic attack. My own gut feeling tells me it was indeed a panic attack, caused by his having been feverish/fluish for a couple of days, so he already felt very weak. I think he got close to fainting when he tried to walk up the stairs and that his body functions went into overdrive then, causing this insane reaction of his upper body tensing up.

Either way, it was very scary and I hope it was a one-time thing only!

Things have calmed down a bit now so I'll try to work more on my commissions whenever I'm not writing that dullass report that's due next week. Sorry for the delay, people! Please do check on twitter as I'll update all my progress there. :) Thanks!

Reference
It'd be great if you could supply me with (several) visual examples of the character you'd like me to draw. If you can't supply one, please try to provide a detailed explanation of your character's features. Feel free to give me additional information, like personality traits or something typically associated with your character and I'll try to add it in. :) Also let me know if you prefer a certain pose, a portrait or full picture, et cetera.
